The post holder will be based at Royal Stoke Hospital.
The post holder is required to support the Clinical Team in the delivery of a comprehensive supplies service to the Home Dialysis Service. This will involve communicating with patients about their dialysis supplies, working with the clinical team, ordering and receipting via the EFFs system, and dealing with any home dialysis queries.
Main duties of the job
Good standard of education to include GCSE's or equivalent in English and mathematics.
Use hospital systems such as iPortal, CareFlow and ELFs to process, store and retrieve patient data.
Maintain a good standard of administrative practice, including accurate record-keeping and database management.
Be the first point of contact for queries relating to home dialysis supplies and prioritise workload to ensure timely resolution.
Liaise and build relationships with the medical and nursing team to contribute to the smooth running of the department.
Provide information, advice and guidance to patients, relatives and carers relating to dialysis information.
Maintain good working relationships and work as an effective team member.
Process, transmit and store patient data using a computerized system, file paper data within the case record in a retrievable format.
