Key Responsibilities: ·To lead on the development of evidence-led policy and practice across on Highway and Street Works matters. ·To be responsible for the effective financial management of the Highway Management Group budgets both revenue and capital. ·To lead on the development of contract management across the department for driving better outcomes ·To undertake role of the Traffic Manager as required by the Traffic Management Act 2004. ·Lead on Highway Assets including specialist areas such as Climate Change delivery, EV charging, Green Infrastructure, Climate Adaptation.
