We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant for Antrim Area Hospital. This position will be on a rota basis working throughout the week, including weekends. The pay rate is between £12.51 to £22.90 per hour. This is a temporary position initially lasting up to three months with the possibility of extension. The main duties of this role include: Assisting with the preparation and service of meals to patients, staff, and visitors. Supporting food service across wards and the hospital restaurant. Ensuring meals are delivered accurately in line with dietary and menu requirements. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and service areas. Washing utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment as required. Carrying out temperature checks and basic food safety records. Assisting with stock control. Following all health, safety, and infection control procedures. What we need from you Hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking. Good working knowledge of CoSHH regulations.
