You will work Monday to Friday, days.
We are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Electrically qualified Technician, to support a team of operators & technicians in carrying out planned & preventative maintenance across the power generation facility.
As the Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for: Carry out planned & reactive maintenance on process plant Investigating & rectifying electrical faults to minimise plant downtime Supporting the operations team in daily maintenance activities Responding to breakdowns to ensure continuous operations Recommend plant spares & repairs to Maintenance manager Assist the maintenance manager with statutory inspections Liaise with operations team regarding fault finding & modification to process equipment Working on a days basis to support operations across the site To be considered for this role you should have: NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with 17th or 18th Edition Proven experience in EfW or relevant sector (Biomass / CCGT / energy from waste / Water) Competency in three-phase and single-phase power, control circuits and equipment fault finding Experience of carrying out maintenance on Heavy Industrial Engineering process equipment such as steam boilers, turbines, pumps, water treatment plant & conveyors Knowledge of all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation This is a permanent position; due to the location of the plant you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site. xjlbheb
