As Power Systems Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling power generation products and electric power solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, achieving annual sales targets.
The role involves generating new customers within international companies operating in Africa, Indian companies in Africa, and African companies.
You will collaborate with Group colleagues to optimize business development opportunities.
Key Customer Objectives
1. Ensure frequent customer coverage through calls and visits globally.
2. Establish strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
3. Analyze market opportunities and understand customer business needs.
4. Identify and pursue potential opportunities with new and existing customers in the designated territories.
5. Produce accurate monthly sales outlooks.
6. Maintain customer and opportunity data in Salesforce.
7. Develop customer action plans and pricing strategies to maximize profitable sales.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in selling industrial equipment.
* Exposure to multicultural working environments.
* Experience working with African and/or Indian-owned companies operating in Africa.
* Proficiency with CRM databases.
* Knowledge of power generation products.
* Proactive, results-driven, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong numeric skills and attention to detail.
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Language skills in Indian or other languages are a plus.
Ideal Qualifications:
* Engineering or Business degree.
