Reference number: SRG 223 Salary: £32800 inclusive of shift uplift Working hours: 6 am- 2 pm and 2 pm-11 pm on weekly rotating shifts Location: Knutsford, Cheshire Duration: Permanent Start date: ASAP On offer for the role: * Opportunity to work with a leading packaging equipment manufacturer * Career development within an established engineering team * Modern CNC machinery, including Hurco and Mori equipment * Stable, growing company with 60 years of industry experience Reporting to: Team Leader - Machining The ideal candidate will have: * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator on milling machines * Competency with Hurco, Mori, or similar VMC machinery * Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications * Experience in component manufacturing and quality checking * Knowledge of CNC programming and tool setting You will need the ability to: * Prioritise workload effectively and work to tight deadlines * Load and run CNC programmes accurately * Manufacture components to precise specifications * Perform quality checks, including de-burring and engraving * Create and store programmes for future use * Manufacture jigs and fixtures as required * Maintain machinery and respond to alarms appropriately Skills and experience: * CNC milling programming and operation experience * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Knowledge of machining processes and tooling * Understanding of health and safety procedures * 5S methodology experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and quality focus * Good communication and teamwork skills * Problem-solving abilities * Machine maintenance knowledge If this role is of interest and you have the requried experience, please click apply now or call (phone number removed)
