The Associate Data Analyst will support existing processes within the department, such as Compliance Monitoring, by undertaking the initial data analysis and advising on potential areas of risk for further review and investigation. Equally, there will be scope and opportunity to review existing processes alongside the Head of Risk and Compliance with the aim of increasing efficiency and automation. What your role will involve On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve reviewing and analysing data available through dashboards and reports; this will involve a significant number of systems, and the Associate Data Analyst will have the opportunity to design and test solutions for monitoring and reporting. Collect, clean, and analyse large and complex datasets from multiple sources. Establish trends and areas of potential harm and provide clear reporting on the issue identified. Undertake initial analysis of large data sets to enable focused reviews to be carried out by specialists within L&R. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve compliance processes. Collect, clean, and analyse data from across teams within L&R for reporting to governance committees; establish and maintain templates for the efficient production of reporting. Present complex data clearly to a range of audiences. Review existing processes in L&R with a view to utilising data available to increase efficiency and reduce effort. What you will need Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrable experience in data analysis, however this does not need to be within a financial services role.
