Summary and Main Purpose: The role of People Partner is to ensure that all internal stakeholders are fully supported by the People Team to the highest level, adding value to the organisation and to support the business to continually improve. This is a national role with travel and the need to split time according to business priorities and tasks, ranging from recruitment & selection, employee relations, advice and guidance, to the delivery of projects. Key Accountabilities: Ensure effective performance management processes are in place, consistently applied, and continuously improved, enabling managers to confidently manage and enhance performance. Lead resource and talent management activity, supporting recruitment across all levels of the organisation. Champion positive people management practices and actively contribute to departmental and organisational cultural goals. Support the delivery of strategic people plan initiatives to help achieve departmental objectives and drive meaningful progress. Lead colleague engagement activity through the annual opinion survey, ensuring action plans and action groups deliver tangible improvements. Regularly review and benchmark candidate attraction and colleague retention practices, recommending improvements such as reward initiatives, benefit options and recognition approaches. Provide generalist HR advice, process expertise and solution-focused support to managers. Deliver employment law guidance to managers to support informed and compliant decision-making. Manage employee relations cases effectively and in line with organisational standards. Build strong relationships with operational managers to understand future business needs and provide proactive support. Support managers to apply best practice across people matters, including attendance, conduct and performance management. Share and promote good practice, contributing to continuous improvement across the organisation. Provide timely information, advice and guidance to colleagues and escalate queries when appropriate. Contribute meaningfully to People Team value-adding projects, including engagement, reward and benefits. Support the effective delivery of Remit’s/Inspiro’s programmes and services. Demonstrate and promote Remit/Inspiro values and culture in all aspects of work. Ensure all administrative tasks are completed and provide support to the People Team with administrative duties when required. Essential Experience: Experience of working within the Apprenticeship Sector Experience of end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, interviewing & selection Experience in operational management support A strong HR generalist background, with strategic business experience Experience of working to strict deadlines and in a responsive and pressured environment Proven track record of HR project delivery Essential Skills and Knowledge: Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Excellent verbal and written skills with outstanding attention to detail Able to work at a pace and remain resilient and self-motivated Competent user of all Microsoft programmes Be willing to further yourself through continuous professional development, updated practices and relevant training Personal Qualities and Attributes: Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload Good time management with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload under pressure Ability to demonstrate initiative Diplomatic and discreet in approach Strong team player
