On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a SaaS Procurement Specialist based in Kildean, Scotland for a 6 Months Contract role.

We are looking for a proactive SaaS Procurement Specialist to join M&G Technology Commercial function, supporting the delivery of services across the business. Own and manage the renewal pipeline, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and timely execution.
Negotiate and redline supplier terms (pricing, SLAs, usage rights, service levels, AI, data & IP), achieving commercial value while protecting risk positions.
Remediate and update AI-related contract clauses (data use, training restrictions, transparency, IP/indemnity, third-party model connections) to reflect responsible use.
Deliver excellent commercial services to internal customers and third-party suppliers, managing smaller projects and supporting larger initiatives.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams (IT Security, Legal, Financial Crime) and external suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement in commercial and contract management processes, capturing lessons learned and uplifting playbooks/templates.
Advise project managers and stakeholders on commercial and risk implications of actions and decisions.
Proven experience in commercial contracting and renewal management, particularly with SaaS/IT suppliers.
Working knowledge of contract law, drafting, evaluation, and commercial negotiation techniques.
Experience in regulated environments (ideally financial services), with practical understanding of risk, compliance, privacy, and security considerations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with procurement/SRM tools is desirable.
Strong commercial negotiation and contract review capability.
Analytical, pragmatic, and collaborative, with a track record of delivering commercial value and resolving complex problems.
