Level 3 Arboriculturist – Essex Company Overview A leading specialist services provider is seeking a Level 3 Arboriculturist to support its expanding vegetation and arboriculture operations. Role Overview This is a full-time, primarily office-based role for a qualified Arboriculturist, with occasional opportunities for remote work. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing UAV (Drone) aerial survey data, identifying species, and producing precise vegetation management plans that balance environmental sustainability with operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret UAV (Drone) survey footage of lineside environments Accurately identify tree species and assess vegetation health Categorise vegetation types and assess potential risk Produce safe, efficient, and sustainable work prescriptions within time-critical frameworks Collaborate with operational teams to support project deliveryKey Requirements: Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent) Strong tree identification skills and understanding of tree health, physiology, and disease Experience with vegetation risk management practices Excellent analytical and organisational skills Comfortable working independently and in a team Strong IT proficiency and reporting capability Full UK driving licence LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certification (desirable) Prior experience with tree inspections and surveys (desirable)Location Requirement: Candidates should live within the Essex, as regular office attendance is expected.
