Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Full-Time)

Location: Maidstone

Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Reports to: Room Leader / Nursery Manager

Room: Babies or Pre-school

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our client nursery based in Maidstone. They are looking for a Practitioner to help in the Baby room or Preschool room. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional care and education following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development.
Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure all children’s individual needs are met, supporting their emotional and physical wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records of children’s development and progress.
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
Work effectively as part of a team to create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment.
Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (ESSENTIAL)
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and maintaining a safe environment.
A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
