Claims Assessor (Salary: circa £28500)
Manage a portfolio of claims cases, working closely with internal and external partners to support both employers and employees. By assessing claims, arranging treatment, and providing telephony support, you will help to achieve the best outcome for the customer.
Support customers during difficult times—whether they’re off work, returning, or facing long-term absence. In this role you’ll help people through treatment, financial stress, or life-changing events with empathy and clarity.
Responsibilities
* Manage portfolio of claims cases

* Assess claims and arrange treatment
* Provide telephony support
* Support customers during returns to work or long-term absence
Qualifications & Skills
* Confident on the phone and able to communicate clearly with a range of people
* Strong decision‑making skills; can explain reasoning and negotiate effectively
* Excellent planning, organising and time‑management skills
* Resilient, adaptable and keen to keep learning
* Experience in insurance or income protection is a bonus, but not essential
Additional Requirements
* 100% office attendance for a minimum of six months, after which some home working may be possible depending on progression
