The Arkk Alliance Ltd is a rapidly expanding accountancy practice committed to redefining client service through excellence, innovation and commercially focused advice. As a result of our continued growth and expanding client base, we are looking for a highly organised, proactive and technically strong Mixed Tax Manager to join our dynamic tax team.
Role Purpose
This role will involve managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance obligations are met while also identifying and delivering proactive tax planning and advisory opportunities. You will act as a key point of contact for clients and an important technical resource across the wider firm.
What you\'ll do
Technical advisory
Provide high level advice and support across a broad range of tax matters, including:
Corporate tax
* Incorporations
* Restructuring projects
* Company purchase of own shares
* Growth shares
* Share freeze planning
Personal tax and CGT
* Succession planning
* Holdover relief
* Rollover relief
* Property disposals
Employment taxes
* Benefits in kind and P11Ds
* Allowable expenses
* Employment related securities returns
Strategic support
Work directly with the Head of Tax on complex ad hoc advisory assignments and projects.
Compliance management
Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns for a broad range of clients, including directors and owner managed businesses.
Monitor work in progress to ensure all HMRC deadlines are met and clients are advised of liabilities on a timely basis.
Client communication
Maintain regular and professional communication with clients and liaise directly with HMRC to resolve queries efficiently.
What we\'re looking for
Qualifications
Ideally CTA and/or ATT qualified, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
Experience
At least 4 years’ relevant experience within a UK accountancy practice environment, with strong experience managing a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
A highly articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to explain complex tax legislation in a clear, practical and commercially relevant way.
Relationship management
A natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients, acting as a proactive adviser rather than simply a compliance provider.
Technical and commercial awareness
Strong analytical skills, excellent report writing ability, and a proactive mindset when identifying tax planning opportunities.
Organisation and attention to detail
Highly organised, responsive and able to manage multiple deadlines without compromising quality.

Hours
Full-time, 35 hours per week
Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
Friday, 8.30am to 2.00pm
