Job Details: Salary Range: £28,624 - £30,060 per annum Work Location: Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service HQ, Eastleigh Hours per week: 37 Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: 12 June 2025 Interview Date: w/c 16 June 2025 We are recruiting for a Hydrant Technician, who will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, testing and repair of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service (HIWFRS)'s fire hydrants to ensure they remain fit for purpose and available when required. The maintenance and testing of fire hydrants is a statutory duty within the Fire Authority's area of responsibility. Experience of undertaking practical tasks such as the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of equipment is essential.
