Residential Care Worker
Location: Exmouth Devon
Salary: up to £27,412 per annum
Hours: 42 hours per week, plus sleep ins on a rota basis, term-time only 39 weeks per year.

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, and resilient Residential Care Workers to support their students (aged 9-25) in developing their independence and achieving their full potential within a caring and supportive residential environment.
No experience is necessary as full, comprehensive training including Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma.
The Role
Every day as a Residential Care Worker is different. You will work within our modern, purpose-built residential flats.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for students in their "home away from home".
2. Supporting students in developing essential independent living skills (e.g., cooking, cleaning, personal care).
3. Planning, organising, and accompanying students on a wide range of social and recreational activities, such as trips to the beach, cinema, bowling, and local community events.
4. Assisting with the educational and development needs of students within a 24-hour learning environment.
5. Working with a dedicated team to create and implement holistic support plans and manage student behaviour positively.
6. Liaising with parents, carers, and other staff members, ensuring accurate records and reports are maintained.
