Senior Quantity Surveyor – Eastbourne
Job type: Full-time - Permanent. Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Company vehicle or car allowance included.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental objectives.
* Prepare plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
* Conduct on-site measurements and measurements of drawings.
* Perform ongoing cost analysis of maintenance and repair work; provide evidence for dispute resolution.
* Prepare estimates and analyze sub‑contractor quotations.
* Agree variation accounts and prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
* Issue certification for contract payments to sub‑contractors.
* Ensure all work complies with company procedures and relevant policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience in heavy civil, highways or environmental projects.
* Experience working with NEC contract form.
* Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate across all levels.
* Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
* Willingness to travel and possession of a full UK driving licence.
