Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join a Middlesbrough secondary school on a full time, temporary basis. This is an opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring a love of language, literature, and creative expression in the classroom.
What you'll be doing:
* Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
* Teaching a range of literature, language, and writing skills
* Encouraging confident reading, writing, and discussion
* Maintaining a positive, well managed classroom environment
* Supporting the wider English department as required
You need:
* QTS or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
* Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enthusiasm, reliability, and adaptability
* Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
