Mechanical Inspectors with strong PC-DMIS programming skills opportunity in this fast growing successful sub contract precision engineering company.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess strong general manual inspection skills and must have expertise in PC-DMIS programming.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed mechanical inspections in accordance with established quality standards and specifications.
* Utilise PC-DMIS programming for efficient and accurate inspection processes.
* Identify and document any discrepancies or defects, collaborating with the production team for resolution.
* Prepare and maintain inspection logs and records for analysis and reporting purposes.
* Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Proficient in PC-DMIS programming for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
* Common sense attitude and an understanding of machining.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
* Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
