We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Turner/Miller to join a well-established precision engineering firm based in Bootle. The company specialises in high-quality metal fabrication and machining services supplying into a range of industries

Responsibilities
* Operate manual lathes to produce precision components to customer specifications.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges).
* Work with a variety of metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
* Maintain machinery and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
* Collaborate with other machinists and fabricators to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Manual Turner in a precision engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Flexibility to support other areas of the workshop when required.
Desirable
* Experience with manual machining either milling
* Familiarity with fabrication and welding processes.
