Job Description:
We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic SPR to join the Accident & Emergency team at a reputable NHS hospital in Northern Ireland. This 6-month locum position offers an exciting opportunity for an SPR to further develop their expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing advanced medical care and management for patients in the Accident & Emergency department
* Taking a lead role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of emergency cases
* Supervising and supporting junior medical staff and trainees
* Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Ensuring clinical guidelines and protocols are adhered to
* Participating in departmental meetings, ward rounds, and clinical governance activities
* Providing mentorship and training to junior team members
Essential Requirements:
* GMC registration with a license to practice
* SPR experience in Accident & Emergency (essential)
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge in emergency medicine
* Excellent communication and team-working abilities
* Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
* Must be available to start ASAP
