We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Trainee Support Desk Engineer. This role is ideal for someone keen to develop technical skills in a hands-on support environment.
This is an office-based position within a long-established company that supplies and supports digital imaging solutions in a specialist market. Youll gain practical experience working with modern imaging technologies, including CAD/CAM systems and 3D printing equipment.
Hours: 9:00am 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Hourly Rate: £12.71
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line technical support to customers via remote support, telephone, email, and live chat
* Log all support enquiries accurately using the company CRM and Support Desk system
* Update and manage support tickets through to resolution
* Escalate more complex tickets to the appropriate technical team member
* Assist in arranging external technical support when issues cannot be resolved internally, liaising with relevant administrative staff
* Deliver a consistently high level of customer service while adhering to service management procedures
* Respond to client enquiries and help resolve both hardware and software-related issues
