We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
* Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving processes to guarantee high-quality dishes are served promptly.
* Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while considering customer preferences.
* Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
* Enforce health and safety standards within the kitchen environment, conducting regular inspections.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Handle any issues that arise within the kitchen promptly and effectively.
Skills
* Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong management skills with prior supervising experience in a kitchen environment.
* Culinary experience with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen.
* Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
