Customer Service Advisor
Full-time permanent role
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute lunch break)
Location: Haywards Heath - modern offices, 10-minute walk from the station. On-site parking and nearby free street parking available.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year, with excellent company benefits including a pension scheme, employee benefits, social events, and a staff Christmas party.
The Role
The Customer Service Advisor will handle a mix of phone-based customer service and administrative tasks in a busy, friendly office within an expanding organization.
Responsibilities
1. Answer and resolve customer queries via telephone and email, taking ownership of each task.
2. Handle general policy administration.
3. Proactively follow up on customer inquiries and convert them into policies where possible.
4. Ensure customer satisfaction exceeds expectations.
5. Produce high-quality documents and maintain accurate records.
6. Develop a strong knowledge of company products.
7. Comply with company and regulatory policies.
8. Engage in regular learning and development activities.
Requirements
1. Experience in a telephone-based or customer-facing/support role.
2. Good general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
3. Customer-focused with a passion for exceeding expectations.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Good prioritization and time management skills with high accuracy.
6. Proficient IT skills and eagerness to learn new systems.
