The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for:
* Assisting in ensuring the department runs smoothly when the Head Housekeeper is absent.
* Ensuring vacant bedrooms are checked to the required standard before being returned to reception.
* Ensuring serviced rooms are spot checked daily to ensure they meet the required standard.
* Training new room attendants on cleaning and servicing bedrooms to the standard.
* Creating work lists and rotas for room attendants in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
* Attending training sessions as required.
* Reporting any maintenance needed in rooms.
* Carrying out cleaning and servicing of bedrooms periodically.
* Adhering to uniform standards at all times.
* Ensuring all guest requests are fulfilled, including items like robes, extra beds, cots, fridges, kettles, irons, tea/coffee trays, fans, etc.
* Checking bedspreads, curtains, and soft furnishings for repairs and stains, and addressing issues accordingly.
* Inspecting carpets for repairs and stains and liaising with the Head Housekeeper.
