Hays are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Evening Receptionist on a temporary ad hoc basis to provide front-of-house support during overnight hours. This role is essential in maintaining a weing and secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff, while ensuring excellent customer service and administrative support.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Manage iing calls, emails, and messages, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
3. Monitor building access and security systems, reporting any unusual activity.
4. Handle check-ins/check-outs (if applicable), visitor logs, and ID verification.
5. Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
6. Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and document handling.
7. Liaise with cleaning, security, and maintenance teams as needed.
8. Respond to emergencies or incidents in line withpany procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
Skills & Experience Required:
9. Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or front-of-house role.
10. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
12. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
13. Basic IT proficiency (, Microsoft Office, email systems, phone systems).
14. Experience with building access or security systems is a plus.
