Job Title: Psychiatrist – Adult ADHD Service (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote – Work from anywhere in the UK
Rate: £300 per assessment (LTD/Self-Employed, Outside IR35)
Contract: Minimum of 6 Assessments per Week
Availability: Monday to Sunday | 8am – 8pm
Duration: Ongoing Contract Service Care Solutions is proud to be working in partnership with a leading UK ADHD service to recruit an experienced Psychiatrist to support adult ADHD assessment and diagnosis. This is a fully remote contract role offering excellent pay, flexible scheduling, and no on-call responsibilities.
About the Role
You will conduct specialist ADHD assessments and diagnoses for adult patients within a structured, supportive multidisciplinary team. This role is suitable for experienced psychiatrists seeking flexibility and autonomy while contributing to a vital national service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out comprehensive ADHD assessments using interviews, behavioural tools, questionnaires, and third-party information
* Differentiate ADHD from overlapping conditions such as anxiety, depression, and learning disorders
* Use standardised diagnostic tools (e.g., DSM-5)
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes
* Develop tailored treatment plans and initiate medication via electronic prescribing
* Support and liaise with Independent Medical Prescribers (IMPs) regarding ongoing medication management
* Refer patients to additional services where clinically appropriate
Working Pattern
* Minimum of 8 assessments per week
* Choose your own working hours within operational times (08:00–20:00, Monday to Sunday)
* No on-call duties or patient availability outside scheduled hours
* Dedicated time allocated for administration and breaks
Requirements
* GMC registration with a licence to practise and listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Psychiatry
* MRCPsych or equivalent medical qualification
* Substantial experience in ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
