Job Description
3. Assist with preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
4. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
5. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
6. Process invoices, expenses, and other financial documents with precision.
7. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
8. Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
9. Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
10. Contribute to improving financial processes and procedures within the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
14. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
15. Qualifications or training in Accounting & Finance.
