The Role
NHS Lanarkshire is looking to recruit a Specialist Radiographer based at University Hospital Hairmyres.
The Specialist Radiographer will justify, authorize, and perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for patients referred from clinicians and other referrers within NHS Lanarkshire. They will also supervise Radiographers and SHCSW to ensure continuity of service delivery.

What you'll need to bring
* Registered Radiographer with valid HCPC Registration
* Educated to or working towards Degree Level
* Postgraduate expertise in your specialty demonstrating leadership and safety management skills
* Knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards in your area of practice
* Experience with relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures
* Leadership skills for managing service delivery
* Continuous Professional Development evidence, including postgraduate qualifications
* Excellent team-working, leadership, motivation, and initiative skills
* Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Effective time management
* Basic IT skills
Please note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving license is required where applicable.
Preferred additional skills
* College of Radiographers IV injection certification
* Training on Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000
Contract Details
Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week)
Location
This role is based in radiology at University Hospital Hairmyres.
