Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our Government & Energy, Property Professional Services team at our Agencies and PPS - i2020, Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT5 6LB site. A hybrid role combining home working with travel across a multi-site estate. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; hybrid working with travel across Northern Ireland as required. What you’ll do
* Support environmental compliance activities, audits, inspections and reporting across a complex multi-site estate
* Collect, validate and maintain environmental performance data relating to energy, waste, water and contract KPIs
* Assist with maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems, corrective actions and compliance records
* Support environmental risk management, pollution prevention and sustainability improvement initiatives
* Promote environmental awareness and engage operational teams in environmental best practice
What you bring
* Degree (or working towards) in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science or related discipline
* Knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability principles
* Experience within an environmental, sustainability or SHEQ support role
* Strong organisational, reporting and record-keeping skills with good attention to detail
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across operational teams
* Professional membership or working towards membership (IEMA, CIWM, CIEEM or similar) desirable
* Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 50001 systems desirable
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland
