Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Painting & Decorating Tutor to deliver high-quality vocational training to learners at HMP Littlehey.
You will work with small groups to build practical skills, technical knowledge, and positive workplace behaviourssupporting learners to achieve recognised qualifications and progress towards employment.
This is a rewarding role where you will design structured lessons, create personalised learning plans, and help individuals overcome barriers to success. Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for vocational education are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Vocational Delivery & Learner Support
1. Deliver Painting & Decorating training up to Level 2.
2. Create personalised learning plans that link directly to learner goals and employability.
3. Prepare, deliver, and review engaging lesson plans covering surface preparation, painting techniques, wallpapering, finishing, and health & safety.
