Transmission Dynamics is a UK-based Industrial Internet of Things solutions provider delivering advanced hardware and software solutions across a range of sectors, including rail, freight, mining, wind and energy.

Role:

Due to our increasingly strong pipeline of commercial enquiries, Transmission Dynamics is seeking experienced Business Development Manager candidates for a full-time vacancy.

This role will require leading active liaison between potential/live clients and internal technical teams to support efficient and effective servicing of incoming business enquiries.

Responsibilities will primarily involve:

The role will primarily involve:

· Responding to initial client enquiries and leading dialogue to understand their specific requirements.

· Organising, documenting and following up potential client meetings.

· Advising on appropriate product/service solutions to meet these (in liaison with the technical team).

· Developing and deploying resulting techno-commercial proposals to the clients.

· Proactively reviewing incoming tender opportunities and, where appropriate, supporting commercial and technical colleagues to respond to these.

· Supporting review of terms and conditions and contractual documentation received from potential clients.

· Working closely with the Business Development Director to continuously improve Business Development documentation/processes.

· Any other commercial support required to support ongoing business development.

Ideal candidates will be talented, passionate and hard-working, with a great intuition for relationship management and commercial thinking. They will have excellent team-working abilities and strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Essential Skills and Experience

Min 2 years demonstrable client-facing commercial sales experience.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Skills or experience related to Industrial Internet of Things products/services.
