Client & Scientific Leadership
Act as the scientific lead across multiple complex accounts.

Provide strategic, scientific, and editorial counsel to clients and internal teams.
Lead workshops and scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Ensure scientific deliverables align with strategic goals and maintain high editorial standards.
Scientific Insight & Innovation
Track developments in the medical communications landscape and proactively provide clients with fresh, forward-thinking strategies.
Translate complex data into compelling narratives tailored to different audiences.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
Drive the scientific and strategic direction of proposals and pitches.
Team & Operational Management
Mentor, train, and develop a growing team of scientific writers and leaders.
Manage recruitment, performance, and career progression of direct reports.
Collaborate with project managers and client leads to ensure seamless execution and resourcing.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning to ensure efficiency.
Ensure timely and accurate time tracking and billing.
Support commercial objectives by meeting team utilization targets.
Hold an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent).
Bring significant experience in medical communications, including leadership roles.
Have proven experience guiding cross-functional teams and building client relationships.
Are an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for scientific accuracy and clarity.
