Senior Front End Developer (React, TypeScript) FX Options Pricing Technology (VP)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated front end application developer to join a greenfield multiyear transformation program. This project is critical to modernising and scaling the electronic FX Options Trading Business, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and development of the electronic FX Options Trading Platform, specializing in RFQ client or sales‑to‑trader workflow, streaming prices, volatility surface and other market data management, and the structured product pricing workbench.
* Collaborate with a global team of developers, quants and traders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
* Leverage expertise in TypeScript & React to build high‑performance, scalable applications.
* Create intuitive and responsive React web UIs that enhance user experience.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development, deployment and testing processes.
Required Skills
* Advanced knowledge in React UI/UX development with TypeScript (Angular or Vue.js experience would also be considered).
* Solid understanding of inter‑application communication using REST, WebSocket or middleware such as Solace, Kafka, or Tibco.
* Proficiency in CI/CD, application resiliency, testing, profiling and telemetry.
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with OpenFin, Interop or other containerised front‑end frameworks.
* Experience with Java, C#.NET or Python.
* Experience with Kubernetes.
* Experience working in finance (a plus, but not required).
