Are you a highly skilled and experienced Group Technical Manager with a Chief Engineer Unlimited qualification looking to take ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance of a fleet of ships?
Would you like to work for one of the UK's fastest-growing fleets, currently constructing 40 new vessels?
This role offers the opportunity to be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all ships owned and operated by the company. The company specializes in offshore PSV and ERRV vessels supporting the UK's offshore Oil & Gas and wind markets.
You will oversee daily fleet operations, ensure compliance with safety and regulations, and work closely with the team to optimize performance. This position is ideal for a Marine background Technical Manager seeking a dynamic and rewarding role with growth potential and bonus earnings.
The Role includes:
* Overseeing daily fleet operations for optimal performance and safety compliance.
* Providing updates to the CTO on ship operations, budgets, and expenditures.
* Ensuring vessel equipment and systems meet SOLAS, IMO, Class, and Flag regulations.
* Managing ship maintenance to ensure seaworthiness and regulatory compliance.
* Developing risk management frameworks and workflow improvements.
The Person:
* Experience managing offshore support vessels.
* Qualified Chief Engineer Unlimited or similar qualification.
