Position: Payroll Specialist Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm or Perm, Part-Time (2-3 days per week) Salary: £15-£17.50 per hour Holiday Pay Benefits (£30-35K FTE) Location: Purfleet Are you passionate about precision and compliance? Adecco Romford & London East are looking for a Payroll Specialist to take ownership of payroll operations for colleagues in a growing organisation. What you'll do: Collate and verify monthly payroll data, including overtime and variable pay Prepare and distribute accurate overtime reports Work closely with HR and our outsourced payroll provider Be the go-to expert for payroll queries on tax, NI, and benefits Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements What we're looking for: ✔ Proven payroll experience ✔ Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, NI, and statutory reporting ✔ Familiarity with P11D, P60, PAYE processes ✔ Excellent attention to detail & communication skills ✔ Experience with HR-linked payroll systems is advantageous Due to the location of the client, it is best suited to applicants with their own transport For further information, please contact Isabelle, Claire or Hannah at Adecco Romford & London East (option 2) as soon as possible.
