Your Role
We’re on the lookout for an Event & Retail Manager to join our Boston leadership team! In this dynamic role, you will lead and coach a team of marketing representatives, driving non-media lead generation and enhancing brand awareness through engaging in-person experiential marketing.
Please note: This position requires significant weekend work (approximately 40 partial or full weekends per year) and travel throughout our service area, including Southern NH, Central Mass, and Southwest Mass.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members.
* Provide in-field coaching to enhance team performance.
* Manage the department calendar, negotiating with event sponsors and vendors.
* Oversee participation in events, sponsorships, and retail partnerships.
* Manage expenses and P&L for Events & Showroom, ensuring budget compliance.
* Collaborate with internal partners such as Sales, HR, and Finance.
* Communicate results and strategies effectively with management.
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years of experience in sales/marketing, event planning, or managing retail teams.
* Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
* Excellent project management abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Willingness to work weekends.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage resources effectively to achieve objectives.
* Proficient in analyzing the effectiveness of events and local programs.
* Familiarity with marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Profit Sharing
In 2025, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out quarterly, tied to our operating profit performance.
