Overview
All Saints is a small school which prides itself on its caring ethos. Our Christian mission with love for ourselves, our family and our world extends to every member of the school community.
Responsibilities
* Work effectively with the business team under the direction of the Headteacher.
* Ensure the appearance of the school and a safe environment for children and staff.
* Carry out site activities including Health and Safety, caretaking and compliance monitoring.
* Deliver a high-quality maintenance service in a busy school environment and handle janitorial issues, both routine and reactive, in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.
* Support the school with CPD opportunities to develop in the role.
Working pattern
* Term time hours 7am - 9.15am and 3pm - 6pm (Split Shift)
* School holidays 8am - 1.15pm
Qualifications and skills
* Good working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and its application.
* Knowledge of janitorial/security duties and ability to deliver a skilled handyman service.
* Ability to communicate well with staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
* Ability to follow agreed regulations and procedures related to the role.
* A friendly, approachable nature and a can-do attitude.
