Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of food and beverage service, from preparation to presentation, within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established standards.
* Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring all tables are set correctly and promptly cleared after use.
* Support catering events by assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown as required.
* Follow food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
* Demonstrate knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience.
* Assist in barista duties when required, preparing coffee and other beverages to a high standard.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with catering services is an advantage.
* Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety standards are essential.
* Barista experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to craft quality beverages.
