Full-Time, Permanent Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join a well-established and rapidly growing M&E contractor based in Birmingham. About the Role: As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of electrical installation projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Key Responsibilities: Analyse tender documents and drawings to prepare detailed electrical cost estimates Work closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements Prepare bills of quantities, take-offs, and pricing schedules Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead times Contribute to value engineering and project planning during pre-construction Support in handover to project delivery teams upon successful award
Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction or M&E industry Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and installation practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent IT skills - experience using estimating software such as Trimble, Amtech, or similar Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Full UK driving licence Competitive salary package Annual performance bonus Pension scheme and holiday allowance Clear progression opportunities within a supportive team Hybrid/flexible working available for the right candidate If you have a portfolio website, please share the link here:
