Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Contractor Support Manager to join our team at our Woodchester location. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to contractors and specifiers, ensuring the seamless execution of roofing and cladding projects. Responsibilities include delivering pre-project training, providing on-site support during project implementations, and conducting post-project inspections and aftercare. You will also handle client inquiries, resolve project-related issues, and maintain strong professional relationships to improve overall client satisfaction and project outcomes, and potentially have your own existing "similar" contractor base to introduce Alltimes systems to.
Should be based in the South of England, ideally West Sussex for looking after the South Coast and London Area.
Qualifications
* Strong communication, customer support, and relationship management skills
* Experience with roofing, cladding, or specialist coating systems and an understanding of waterproofing or construction-related practices that includes flat roofing
* Project management and problem-solving skills
* Ability to deliver training and provide hands‑on support to contractors
* Adaptability and ability to work effectively on‑site in various conditions
* Proficiency in basic computer and administrative tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, customer management systems)
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
* Previous experience in a similar support, technical, or customer‑facing role is preferred
The Contractor Support Manager at Alltimes Coatings is a new role for this area which you will be responsible for developing. Responsibilities include supervising all aspects of the company's contractor and field staff program, managing the field staff, helping to create and run an approved contractor scheme, helping to create and oversee training programs, and liaising with the heads of tele‑sales and customer support. You will also be responsible for inspecting or overseeing inspections of work carried out by our customers to a satisfactory level in order that warranties can be issued. You will build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to build customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding customer service to our contractors.
* Assist with the running of the approved contractor scheme, ensuring that only qualified and reputable contractors are working with us.
* Liaise with the heads of tele‑sales and customer support, ensuring that our contractors are provided with the best possible service.
* Inspect work carried out by our customers to a satisfactory level in order that warranties can be issued.
* Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring customer loyalty and ensuring customer retention.
* Meeting with prospective customers to explain how we support contractors with our service and products.
* Writing reports for initial site visits, specifications and checking on progress and quality of customer projects. This will primarily be done with our cloud‑based system and templates.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in the industrial and construction coatings industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the ability to identify, assess, and resolve issues.
* Comfortable using office computer systems and cloud‑based apps.
* Detail‑oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Keen to continuously improve industry and product knowledge and management skills.

* Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
* Familiarity with contractor management procedures and best practices.
