This role involves working on a range of projects.
The work involves:
1. Providing technical transfer pricing advice to our Large Corporate clients on a broad range of topics
2. Developing and maintaining client relationships including acting as the main point of contact for clients and relevant stakeholders
3. [Corps only: Managing multiple projects concurrently and be able to tailor advice and deliverables to the size of the client and the budget for completing the project.]
4. Managing various projects across multiple jurisdictions and leading the day-to-day delivery processes
5. Coordinating with KPMG's transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax and advisory teams on a range of topics
6. Financial management, including developing and managing project budgets and billing to ensure profitable delivery of client engagements
7. Coaching and developing junior team members which will also include delivering training sessions and providing on-the-job coaching on a regular basis
8. Ensuring timely reporting to senior management
9. Actively contributing to identifying new opportunities and managing business development and marketing initiatives along with proposition and market leads
The Person
We are looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:
10. Either a CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA or attained a Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, finance, law, accounting or equivalent qualification.
11. At least 5 years of transfer pricing experience, preferably including experience of preparing transfer pricing documentation, tax value chain analyses, benchmarking, supporting with tax authority enquiries/Advance Pricing Agreements, project management and managing junior team members
12. Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate risk issues and know when to involve others.
13. Strong analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
14. High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
15. Strong commercial awareness
16. Keen ability and willingness to keep up to date technically and develop the technical ability of the team below you.
17. Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative as appropriate
18. An appreciation of and/or understanding of ethical/risk issues within a client service environment
19. Very strong people skills for engaging with our clients and team members
20. Highly organised with excellent communication and project management skills
