The role would suit someone who enjoys fault-finding, technical problem-solving, and carrying out high-quality repairs in line with manufacturer standards. We are looking for a capable, self-motivated Diagnostic Technician who can work independently, manage workloads effectively, and support the wider workshop team with accurate diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair work. Key Responsibilities - Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding - Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards - Identify faults, worn components, and additional repair requirements - Carry out defect rectification efficiently and accurately - Complete warranty repairs and relevant paperwork where required - Work safely and responsibly, following all health and safety procedures - Support the wider workshop team with technical guidance where needed - Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer care Candidate Requirements - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Servicing and Repair, or equivalent - Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Motor Vehicle Technician - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability - Confident working independently within time constraints - Good mechanical and technical knowledge - Full UK driving licence essential - MOT licence desirable but not essential - Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-focused approach Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Every 4th Saturday, 8:00am - 12:00pm, paid at overtime rate.
