Social Worker - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a skilled MASH Social Worker to be the crucial first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns, working in partnership with key agencies to make swift, informed decisions.
Location, Working Pattern & Security
 * Location: Huntingdon (PE29 6NP). The team is co-located at the Police Headquarters.
 * Vetting: A Police vetting and a DBS check are required for this role.
 * Working: Hybrid working (office/home mix). There are no visits to service users; all contact is virtual.
Salary & Benefits
 * Salary: £40,735 - £43,516 per annum.

Key responsibilities include:
 * Screen and triage contacts, rapidly gathering and analysing multi-agency information to assess risk and need.
 * Making robust analytical decisions on cases (including initiating S47 Enquiries).
 * Utilising exceptional written communication skills to produce clear, analytical summaries for management.
Essential Requirements
 * Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration.
 * Expertise in safeguarding children in accordance with statutory legislation
