Training Design & Development
Assist in the development and updating of training materials such as, but not restricted to presentations, workbooks and eLearning modules, in line with current legislation, best practice, and organisational policies.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Training Delivery
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions (face-to-face and/or virtual) on mandatory, statutory, and specialist topics aligned with CQC standards and sector best practices, licencing requirements and national certification standards (e.g. Safeguarding, Safety Intervention, First Aid, Dementia Care, Learning Disabilities, medication administration etc.).
Adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and levels of experience.
Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment and culture.
Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and assessments.
Assessment & Evaluation
Assess learner understanding through observation, quizzes and practical assessments.
Evaluate training sessions post-delivery and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
Compliance & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate training records via our Learner Management System (LMS) at the end of each training session.
Scan all course paperwork and securely store within our 'N' drive shared folder
Support audits and inspections by providing evidence of training delivery as required.

Supporting & Mentoring
Provide coaching and support to new trainers.
Act as a role model for best practice in care delivery.
Provide support to our services as identified by our training managers.
To liaise with the wider learning and development team to organise and plan the delivery of courses
To work with the wider Learning and Development team to promote a cohesive learning and development culture within the company.
To work on ad hoc projects as directed by the Learning and Development senior team
To undertake any other local, regional or national tasks as required by the company
Be aware of and undertake mandatory and other training requirements necessary for the successful and safe performance of the role, including relevant updates.
Ability to travel and work away from home when necessary
Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs at short notice

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Hold Professional qualifications in relevant subject areas.
Hold a Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, AET, or equivalent).
Hold trainer certification/licences in relevant subject areas.
Experience delivering training in health and social care settings.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Good organisational skills and ability to use Microsoft applications and other IT based applications.
Strong understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding principles.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt training to varied learning styles and backgrounds.

Desirable Attributes
Experience working with awarding bodies and coordinating training activities.
Train-the-Trainer certification in key areas (e.g., Moving & Handling, Medication Management).
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Familiarity with digital learning platforms and interactive technologies.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (for community-based roles).
