This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where client service and team support are top priorities. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse client base Submit FPS/EPS returns and advise clients on PAYE obligations Administer auto-enrolment pension schemes, primarily NEST Handle bank payment submissions on behalf of clients (when required) Process new starters, leavers, and statutory documents (e.g., P45s) Manage statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.) Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients via phone and written correspondence Support general administrative tasks as part of the wider team What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of payroll experience (essential) Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Confident communicator with clients and colleagues at all levels Flexible, self-motivated, and eager to learn new systems Experience with Xero and Sage Payroll is essential Previous experience in an accountancy practice is a plus Join a firm that values your expertise and offers a stable, supportive work environment with room to grow.
