Prospero Teaching is seeking engaging, resilient, and understanding Tutors to support young learners who are at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX). These students often face challenges in their educational journey, and we're looking for individuals who can make a real difference in their lives. Key Details Location: Liphook and surrounding areas ⏰ Hours: 8-15 hours per week per student Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Students: KS2-KS4, often with SEMH needs or EHCPs As a Tutor, you will As a Tutor, you will work 1:1 with disengaged learners to: Support core subject catch-up (English, Maths, Science) Promote emotional regulation and social development Build trusting relationships that foster confidence and motivation About you Experienced in tutoring or teaching (QTS/QTLS not essential) Passionate about inclusive education Skilled in behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches Flexible, patient, and committed to long-term impactPosition - Tutor Contract or position start date - September Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Varied Hours - Varied Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL Knowledge of safeguarding and SEND frameworks Experience of working with learners with SEMH needs Experience of supporting learners with Maths and English learningTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
