Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company established over 30 years ago, specializing in test coordination and industrial commissioning. TES also assists its clients with studies and the assembly of industrial equipment.
We are currently looking to fill a position for Construction Engineer HVAC (f/m).
Accountabilities:
1. Delegation of responsibilities to CE's/Works Coordination Leads. Lead, manage, and motivate the team through best practices.
2. Deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Pack scope of works to support MEH construction activities.
3. Define boundaries of scope of works.
4. Liaise with SME's and client counterparts.
5. Ensure documents comply with latest works information and MEH documentation.
6. Keep documents up-to-date and review at least every 6 months.
7. Own and drive deliverables from conception to A-Accepted status, aiming for >90% first-time acceptance.
8. Prioritize and own documentation to enable construction as per level 4 plan, e.g., T-3 months acceptance prior to works.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and procedures.
10. Report directly to the Building Manager or their deputy.
11. Demonstrate positive HSE leadership, fostering a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the project lifecycle.
12. Ensure compliance with nuclear safety and site license requirements.
13. Review and provide feedback on resource adequacy to effectively support the function.
Deliverables:
1. Deliver Construction Workpacks supporting the MEH Alliance programme.
2. Enable the use of the Procon system for construction support and progress reporting.
3. Support MEH Alliance's Work Authorization and Permit systems compliance.
4. Coordinate safe access routing for construction works.
5. Coordinate topographical and other surveys needed for construction.
Qualifications include:
* HVAC Trade qualifications with 5+ years' proven experience.
* Relevant professional accreditation (e.g., PM, Construction, Engineering).
* Ability to obtain Security Clearance (BPSS or higher).
* CCNSG Safety Passport.
* IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
* Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
* Experience in highly regulated industries like Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, etc., preferred.
* Experience working on major HVAC construction projects.
* Experience at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including within Joint Ventures.
