We are looking for ambitious students with a background in/knowledge of the sector to join our growing Infrastructure teams in Birmingham and Nottingham on a 12-month sandwich placement.

Our infrastructure team is the fastest growing of its kind in the country, now with over 200 people in eleven offices around the UK, working with major clients including Network Rail, HS2, National Highways, National Grid, Homes England and the Crown Estate.
Responsibilities
* Operate in both rural and urban environments and be directly involved in delivering infrastructure solutions for the 21st Century and beyond.
* Contribute to services across sectors including Energy, Telecommunications, Utilities, Transport, Geospatial / GIS, and Property / Asset management.
Qualifications
* Understanding of the infrastructure property sector and a relevant RICS-accredited degree.
* Candidates with relevant work experience in the surveying industry who can demonstrate a basic understanding of valuation and the principles of compulsory purchase are favoured.
* A can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
* Good interpersonal skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Carter Jonas runs an internal APC training program, available to placement students and graduates. Placement students will take part in away days focused on understanding the APC process, with support from the wider firm, including APC Assessors. APC contribution is applicable for those with a RICS-accredited degree.

You will respond to questions about your work experience, motivations, and interest in a career in property, as well as any extracurricular activities. You should provide reference contact details (one educational and one employment). If successful, you will be invited to attend an interview in November.
