About The Role
Churchill Estates Management offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, with a background in administration and customer service, to join our retirement development as a Lodge Manager. This diverse role allows you to make a positive impact daily on the lives of our Home Owners. Your responsibilities include organizing activities, coordinating the development, managing contractors, conducting health and safety checks, and more.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will oversee the maintenance of the property and deliver first-class service to Owners. You will be the trusted on-site contact, liaising with customers, contractors, suppliers, and Churchill colleagues. This role is crucial to the success of the Lodge and the satisfaction of Owners, offering a highly rewarding experience.
About You
Your passion for excellent customer service is essential. You should have an outgoing, friendly personality, with a love for working with people. You will need to act with sensitivity and diplomacy, manage safety and security effectively, and remain calm under pressure. While engaging socially with residents, you should also be comfortable working independently and using your initiative.
Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, are necessary to organize events and maintain site administration. Experience in retirement living, social housing, hospitality, uniformed services, charity, or health & social care sectors is preferred. A successful Lodge Manager is someone who enjoys front-of-house roles and is committed to providing exceptional customer service and administrative excellence.
