We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our team at The Northern School of Art.
As the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, you will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient “front of house” service. You’ll handle initial enquiries, direct visitors, manage incoming and outgoing post, and support administrative and financial tasks. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
You’ll be someone who thrives in a customer-facing role, with a warm and professional manner and the ability to stay organised in a busy environment.
Essential skills and experience include GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, proven experience in a reception, front‑of‑house, or customer service environment, competence in cash handling and administrative processes, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office or comparable software systems.
